Stuart Burgess - Managing Director of Investors In
People New Zealand
Stuart is
Managing Director for Investors in People NZ as well holding the
role of Director of Investors in People Australia. Stuart has
responsibility for positioning the international Investors in
People quality Standard into the NZ environment and ensuring
consistency in delivery of services provided to clients. He is
recognised by Investors in People UK as the leading Investors in
People specialist in Australasia, having assessed and advised
extensively in the NZ and Australian context.
In the last 20 years he has held senior management
positions heading both finance and human resources functions in
NZ, Singapore and the UK. Stuart has wide experience in areas
of organisational development and business strategy and uses his
skills to provide highly effective assessment feedback to clients
in all sectors. Stuart is a chartered accountant and a member of
the NZ Institute of Chartered Accountants.

Karen Simmonite - Quality Services
Coordinator
Karen has a
background in education and training and is responsible
for ensuring the smooth running and administration of training
and development programmes. Karen assures clients
that quality service is of paramount importance at Investors

in People Specilaists, authorised to conduct assessment and/or

services. All our advisors work nationally but
are based throughout New Zealand.
Mark Sweeney
- Wellington
Mark Sweeney is an affiliate of Investors in
People. Along with Chris Rowan, he is responsible for the
Wellington office of IIPNZ. He facilitates and coaches in order to
equip leaders with a suite of capabilities to deal with any
situation. Mark is particularly effective in ensuring the transfer
of learning into workplace practice and does this with a high level
of pragmatism and the ability to make seemingly complex
organizational issues accessible and manageable. Mark is qualified
as an Investors in People Assessor and a Belbin Teams accredited
facilitator with experience in the public service, local government
and education sectors.

Chris
Rowan - Wellington
Chris is an Associate of
Investors in People NZ and responsible for the running of the
Wellington office with colleague Mark Sweeney. She also is a
Director of Impact Group Ltd, a consultancy specialising in
organisational development capacities, training and facilitation in
both the Education and Business sectors.
Chris has worked extensively in
the education sector as a teacher, a lecturer and the Chair of
Special Education at Wellington College of Education. As a highly
skilled facilitator Chris is an advocate of active and interactive
learning. She uses an innovative approach to facilitation and
training design. This has seen her work in a range of settings
including National Symposia, Advisory Groups and in community
consultation.

Sarah
Watson - Christchurch
Sarah Watson is an Agriculture
Specialist and also an affiliate of Investors in People. Sarah
and her husband Tony are jointly responsible for our Investors in
People office in Christchurch. Sarah has a BAgrSci, from Lincoln
University and has been an HR professional since 1992 and HR
Consultant to the dairy sector since 2002. She has worked as a
Group HR Manager in the private sector and held various HR roles in
other corporate environments. Sarah is a qualified Investors in
People assessor, a 5 times presenter at South Island Dairy Event
(SIDE) and has presented at Women in Dairy (National conference and
South Island Dairy Days series) and is a member of HRINZ.

Tony Watson -
Christchurch
Tony Watson, also an Agriculture
Specialist, is another affiliate of Investors in People.
He has extensive experience in the agriculture sector
including roles as Farm Manager, Farm Supervisor and General
Manager. He is an experienced facilitator, trainer and coach. Tony
is a qualified Investors in People - On Farm assessor, holds a
BAgCom (FM), and is a member of New Zealand Institute of Primary
Industry Management (NZIPIM). For more information about the

Ian Williams - National
Ian Williams is an IIP specialst in the South
Island, having been an IIP assessor for a number of years. He is
highly regarded as both an organisational and personal business
coach with qualifications in people management, coaching and
business excellence. He has notched up 30 years experience,
latterly at board level. His international experience is mainly
Great Britain, Australia and New Zealand.

Denise
Hartley-Wilkins - Nelson
Denise
is a senior human resources and business professional with wide
experience across all sectors including private, public and
not-for-profit. She has a strong commercial awareness with a focus
on organisational performance focusing her expertise in areas such
as strategic HR, organisational development, diversity, employer
branding, employee engagement, change management, learning &
development at a strategic and operational level. Denise is
qualified as an Investors in People assessor and is a member of
both the HRINZ and CIPD in the UK. She can also hold a conversation
with you in French and German.

Chris Elphick -
National
Chris Elphick is a highly experienced business
coach, consultant, facilitator and trainer. He works with a wide
range of organisations from the profit, not-for-profit and public
sectors. He currently runs the Pacific Business Mentoring Training
Programme for BMNZ; delivers business improvement workshops for
ECCC; has a number of private clients; provides leadership,
management and supervision programmes through Thought Planters and
works as an associate for the Government's Partnership Resource
Centre where he works with employee engagement initiatives.
He was involved with the Investors in People Standard from its
pilot stages in the UK as an assessor and advisor. More information

Simon Gibson
Simon Gibson is a trained
professional Coach with 20 years experience in the corporate and
rural environments. He runs Coach
Approach Partnership with Corene Walker,
Matthew Pickering, who are also
Investors in People Specialists. Coach approach is a leading
provider of coaching for businesses, leaders and individuals. They
provide small to medium sized organisations with strategies
and skills needed to produce high calibre leaders, highly
effective teams and outstanding performance.
Simon is a qualified Investors in People Assessor on farms.
Simon has a vast experience in working with leaders and managers of
large scale dairy businesses and rural services in the Dairy
industry. Corene is a Professional Qualified Coach and provides
strategic coaching skills for leaders in many industries
including:, corporate, dairy, manufacturing, engineering,
government, media, entertainment, entreprenurial, communication, IT
hospitality and education. Matthew Pickering is recognised as
the top 1% of leadership talent in the ANZ National Bank and
delivers strategic coaching skills for leaders.
